New GDPR requirements

As of May 25, 2018, the new European privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into full effect.

This law is meant to strengthen your personal data rights when it comes to collection, storage, processing, etc…

JoeSchlosser.net and Excellent Adventures Inc. (the Company) is committed to complying with the GDPR and we’ve made a few updates:

We will keep your data within the Company and our trusted third party technologies we use daily; MailChimp, Thinkific, Wordfence, etc.

The Company has and will maintain our technical and organizational measures to keep your data safe.

The Company will ONLY process your data for legitimate interest-based purposes.

The Company will follow your instructions regarding the storage and processing of your data. Most importantly, you can withdraw your consent to receive any information from The Company at any time.

You have the right to ‘be forgotten’ or to request that The Company erases your personal data, especially data that is no longer necessary.

If there is ever a data breach, The Company will notify you without delay with the next steps to protect your data.

We’ve updated our privacy policies and terms and conditions to reflect how we handle your personal data.

Remember, you can opt-out of receiving any communication about products, services, and content at any time by clicking the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ link at the bottom of all of our emails.
